DAY 1 : MARRAKECH -
We pick up you from your hotel in Marrakech and our professional driver will drive across Tizi n Tichka pass in Atlas mountains. We visit Aait Benhaddou ,old Unesco Kasbah from 12 th century. After lunch here we explore Ouarzazate ,often called as Moroccan Hollywood. We continue a drive along Draa valley. We spend the evening at NKOB in a small hotel with half board. It will be our first contact with the sky for introduction to the astronomy on deep Morocco .
DAY 2 : NKOB -
Today we departure from NKOB towards TAFILALET OASIS. We pass nice arid desert landscapes, we stop at ERFOUD for a lunch. Then we continue to Merzouga and its ERG CHEBBI sand dunes. We experience a camel ride for one hour and we enjoy beautiful sunset ,as an unique experience. We stay overnight in desert camp where we will have dinner. Then we enjoy astronomy session , sky lecture , presentation , and sky observation with our 200 mm telescope . We sleep in Sahara Berber tents in Merzouga .
DAY 3 : ASTRONOMY IN MERZOUGA DESERT
After breakfast in the desert camp , we explore the famous ERG CHEBBI SAND DUNES in Morocco. We visit village of Khamlia, Hassilabiad and Merzouga. Later today we return back to same desert camp or Kasbah depending on the weather. Then we enjoy another astronomy practicing and we exchanging knowledge.
DAY 4 : MERZOUGA DESERT TO MIDELT AND FEZ
After breakfast we leave Merzouga desert and we drive towards Middle Atlas. We pass Ziz valley, and after lunch in Midelt we reach Fez city where we drop you at your hotel . End of Morocco astronomy tour.
