However, it is an ideal site because, while most of us live in locations with high population density and light pollution, which interfere with the natural starry sky, there are portions of Morocco that have no city lights. The sand dunes of Merzouga Erg Chebbi are one of Morocco's most stunning and unusual stargazing spots.

From our Sahara camp site, we provide a wonderful introduction to the night sky of southern Morocco for Moroccan guests.
DAY 1 : CASABLANCA -
Pick up from the airport and explore Casablanca best sights. Then we transfer to your hotel in Fes with optional medina excursion.
DAY 2 : FES MEDINA EXCURSION -
After breakfast, you will have the opportunity to explore Fes, Morocco's spiritual capital. We will begin our guided tour of the Medina by seeing monuments such as Al Qaraouine University, Moulay Idriss' mausoleum, the Nejjarine Fountain, and so on. Then we'll go to the Medina for a traditional meal. We'll depart from Fes and go via the Middle Atlas Mountains. We'll go to Ifrane, Morocco's "Switzerland," and then to Azrou to say hello to the monkeys in their cedar forest. Then we'll reach Midelt and spend the night in a local hotel.
DAY 3 : MIDELT -
After breakfast, we will depart Midelt and the Tizi N'Teghamt pass for the region of Ziz Valley, where we will stop to appreciate the wonderful oasis landscapes. After arriving in Merzouga, we will spend the night in a local hotel.
DAY 4 : MERZOUGA EXCURSION -
Today, after breakfast, we drive over a desert; most rallies pass via Erg Chebbi, and we spend the nights in a desert tent at Erg Chebbi SAND dunes in Merzouga. Enjoy a camel ride and the sunset on the dunes. Enjoy an open-
DAY 5: MERZOUGA EXCURSION -
You will have a great time today because you will enjoy Astronomy Day in Sahara desert. We drive around Erg Chebbi Merzouga to explore the area, meet nomads, and enjoy the landscape at the same camp at night. After supper, there will be an astronomy presentation and observation using binoculars and a telescope.
DAY 6 : MERZOUGA -
We'll get up early to catch the spectacular sunrise. After that, we'll go from Merzouga. We'll drive to Tinghir, passing through Rissani and the fossil town of Erfoud. We'll stop at Toudra Gorges to take in the breathtaking scenery of the small gorges and the magnificent water stream. Following that, we'll travel to Dades Valley, where we'll spend the night at a wonderful hotel.
DAY 7 : DADES GORGES -
After breakfast, we will depart Dades and continue our tour from Casablanca to Kelaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate through the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, a scenic route for photographers. We'll make a quick visit to Skoura, an incredible oasis. Then we'll head to Ouarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou (both UNESCO World Heritage Sites), which are both prominent filming locations that can be seen in many famous Hollywood films such as The Mummy, Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, and even Game of Thrones. We will drive through the breathtaking scenery of the Tizi n'Tichka route on our way to Marrakech. We will spend the night in a traditional Riad in Marrakech.
DAY 8 : MARRAKECH -
